1. SSBCF Unrestricted Philanthropy Fund
The Unrestricted Philanthropy Fund distributes proceeds annually to support all of Sandpipers philanthropic programs, wherever the need is greatest. Programs such as Back to School Shopping, Holiday Baskets, Scholarship and others benefit from this fund.

2. SSBCF College Scholarships Fund
The College Scholarships Fund distributes proceeds annually to support Sandpipers' Scholarship program. Recent distributions have allowed the program to award more students each year with financial assistance during their four-year college education.

3. SSBCF Senior Assistance Fund
The Senior Assistance Fund was established by Sandpipers Associate Members and annually distributes proceeds to benefit non-profit programs that assist senior citizens in the South Bay community.

4. SSBCF Community Development Fund
The Community Development Fund distributes proceeds annually to support community outreach programs such as beach outings and art programs for underserved children.

5. SSBCF Emergency Casework Fund
The Emergency Casework Fund distributes proceeds annually to support Sandpipers' ongoing Emergency Casework program which assists South Bay residents in immediate financial crisis.

SSBCF Ashlyn Dyer Memorial Scholarship
Commemorating the life of Ashlyn Dyer, a former Sandpiper Junior as well as daughter and sister of two Sandpipers Presidents, the Dyer Family awards college scholarships each year to incoming freshmen from the Sandpipers Scholarship recipients.

The John and Joan Roney Memorial Scholarship Fund honors not only the memory of this couple for their decades of support of Sandpipers, but also for their dedication and commitment to education and the educational process. Funds will be awarded annually to Sandpipers Scholarship recipients.

Kory Hunter was the young husband, son and brother of three Sandpipers members, and father of three when he tragically passed away. Commemorating the life of Kory Hunter, the Hunter Family awards college scholarships each year to incoming freshmen students from the Sandpipers Scholarship recipients.

The KTK Back to School Shopping Fund was established by a member of Sandpipers to ensure it's longevity. When it reaches maturity the fund will distribute proceeds annually to support the Sandpipers Back to School program.

The Ora L Petersen Memorial Scholarship fund honors the memory of Ora L. Petersen with an annual college scholarship to an incoming freshman student from the Sandpipers Scholarship recipients.

Donald Wayne Redman and T. Bruce Clarke both loved learning and were always curious to discover the “how” of things.This scholarship will be awarded to a future teacher.

SSBCF Sandpiper Juniors Scholarship
The Sandpiper Juniors Scholarship fund was established by Sandpipers' high school subsidiary, Sandpiper Juniors. Each year they award a college scholarship to an incoming freshman from the Sandpipers Scholarship recipients.

SSBCF Sandpipers Graux Fund
In June 2014, Sandpipers established a new named fund called the Sandpipers Graux Fund with from a grant from the Graux estate. Distribution from this fund is at the sole discretion of the Sandpipers Board of Directors and will be used if and when specific needs arise.

SSBCF Selene Church Memorial Scholarship
Established by the Margaret Moody Trust, the Selene Church Scholarship was created to honor the memory of Margaret’s granddaughter, Selene Castillo Church, who passed away shortly before her own high school graduation from Redondo Union High School.

SSBCF Turner Family Holiday Basket Endowment
The purpose of this fund, established by the Turner family, is to ensure the continuation of Sandpipers' Holiday Baskets program. Each December, Sandpipers distributes over 100 baskets filled with household necessities to families suffering economic hardships.

Bill and Diane Trimble are third-generation Redondo Beach residents. Together they dedicated their lives to running youth enrichment and parent education programs. They leave this legacy of being life-long learners to those students who receive the scholarship established in their honor.
